GAP has reiterated its commitment to promoting responsible citizenship, democratic participation, and grassroots inclusion in national development processes.
The Grassroots Alliance for Progress (GAP) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting civic responsibility, democratic participation, and grassroots inclusion as key drivers of sustainable national development.
The Association noted that active citizen participation in governance processes strengthens accountability, improves policy responsiveness, and enhances democratic legitimacy.
GAP emphasized that grassroots engagement remains essential for ensuring that governance decisions reflect the needs, aspirations, and priorities of local communities across Ghana.
“As a people-centered civic organization, GAP seeks to empower citizens with knowledge, participation opportunities, and platforms for constructive engagement in national development,” the Secretariat stated.
The Association continues to implement civic education programmes, policy awareness initiatives, and grassroots mobilization activities aimed at strengthening democratic culture and informed participation among members and communities.
