GAP PROMOTES GRASSROOTS PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL SANITATION EXERCISES
The Grassroots Alliance for Progress (GAP) has urged members across Ghana to actively participate in national and community sanitation initiatives within their regions and constituencies.
The Association emphasized that sanitation exercises remain essential for improving public health outcomes, preventing environmental hazards, and strengthening civic responsibility at the community level.
GAP leadership noted that grassroots participation in sanitation campaigns reflects responsible citizenship and aligns with national development priorities aimed at improving living conditions and environmental sustainability.
The Association also highlighted that community engagement initiatives such as clean-up exercises foster social cohesion, volunteerism, and collective responsibility among citizens.
Regional and Constituency GAP leadership have been encouraged to mobilize members and collaborate with local authorities and community stakeholders to ensure effective participation.
